De straat op tegen ontmenselijking
Katrin: “Het is onmenselijk wat Gaza meemaakt. Die machteloosheid jaagt je de straat op – maar het geeft moed om te zien dat we met steeds meer zijn. Toch blijft het een rauwe realiteit: terwijl de ontmenselijking doorgaat, kijken zoveel mensen gewoon weg. Dat is, eerlijk, het meest beangstigende van al.”

Dans la rue contre la déshumanisation
Katrin: Ce qui se passe à Gaza est inhumain. On se sent tellement impuissant, alors on doit descendre dans la rue.
Je me sens soutenue par toutes les personnes ici.
J’ai déjà manifesté pour la Palestine et contre le génocide à Gaza, mais être de plus en plus nombreux, ça fait du bien.
Je trouve ça dur de voir comment certains participent à cette déshumanisation.
On le voit — on ne peut pas l’ignorer — et pourtant on ne fait rien.
C’est effrayant de vivre ça.

Taking to the streets against dehumanization
Katrin: What’s happening in Gaza is inhuman. You feel so powerless, so you have to take to the streets.
I do feel supported by all the people here.
I’ve protested before for Palestine and against the genocide in Gaza, but being with more people each time really helps.
It’s hard to see how some people go along with this dehumanization.
You see it — you can’t ignore it — and still, nothing is done.
It’s frightening to witness.
